The Lindy 43158 is an 8 m active USB 3.0 extension cable from the Active Extension Pro series. It keeps SuperSpeed transfers at up to 5 Gbit/s, locking connectors hold the link securely, and the cable serves as the first unit of a Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro line.

Description

A modular system that grows to 40 metres

In an Active Extension System Pro line the first unit at the computer must be the 8 m 43158 or the 15 m 43229. More cables from the same system can follow up to 40 metres, distributing the signal to up to four devices. For several devices or a device with high power needs, the last segment must be the 10 m Hub Pro (43159) with its power supply. The device's own cable may be up to 2 m.

Who this USB cable is for

AV and IT installers moving a USB 3.0 camera, external drive or other SuperSpeed device far from the computer, for example in a meeting room or an industrial setting where locking connectors matter. Operating temperature is 0–50 °C and a manual is included.
