Description

Anthra Line is the Lindy cable series for commercial AV and IT systems. Triple shielding and silver-plated copper conductors keep the signal clean and resist corrosion, while gold-plated contacts and nickel-plated connectors keep the connection reliable. The e-marker chip tells the charger the cable can handle 240 W, and the USB-C link negotiates on its own which side is the host and which the device.

Will this cable charge a 240 W laptop?

Yes, it supports the USB PD 3.1 extended power range of up to 240 W (48 V, 5 A). For the full 240 W, the charger and the laptop must support it as well.

Does the cable carry video to a monitor?

Yes. The specifications list a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz, and Lindy’s description also mentions DisplayPort 2.0 Alt Mode with one 8K or two 4K displays.

Does it work with Thunderbolt devices?

Lindy states backwards compatibility with Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.2 and USB 2.0. The speed is then set by the slower device.
