Description

A small, light drive that is happy to travel

The MR1100 is only 9 mm thick and weighs 30 grams, so it fits even the smallest pocket of a laptop bag. The aluminium housing protects the M.2 SSD inside and helps spread heat. With no moving parts, it copes with bumps in transit far better than a classic hard drive. 3D TLC flash is the common memory type in current SSDs, balancing reasonable endurance with speed.

Which cable is included?

The box contains a cable of about 35 cm with USB-C on the drive side and USB-A on the computer side. According to the manufacturer a USB-A to USB-C adapter is also included, so the drive can connect to computers that only have USB-C ports.

No. According to the manufacturer the MR1100 has neither password protection nor hardware encryption. If needed, use the operating system's software encryption.

Does the drive support Thunderbolt?
