From an old drive to a new NVMe SSD
The cloning station is built for the moment a computer swaps its old SATA drive for a fast M.2 NVMe SSD: the whole drive is copied to the new one, so there is no need to reinstall the system. Used as a dock, USB 3.2 Gen 2 gives up to 10 Gbit/s, letting the SSD show its speed and files open quickly. The USB-A adapter is fixed to the USB-C plug of the combo cable, so it cannot get lost.
