Questions & answers

Why is the write speed so much lower than the read speed?

The supplier lists reads of up to 400 MB/s and writes of 30 MB/s. Files open from the drive quickly, but copying a large amount of data onto it takes longer.

Will it work in a car or a TV?

The manufacturer lists PCs, Macs, smart TVs and cars with a USB Type-A port as compatible. Whether a particular device reads a 256 GB drive also depends on that device.

Does it work in an older USB 2.0 port?

Yes, the drive is backward compatible with USB 2.0. In such a port, speed is limited to what USB 2.0 can deliver.
