ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card 8 GB GDDR7 (DUAL-RTX5060TI-O8G)

At the heart of the card is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 4608 CUDA cores. ASUS has raised the clocks at the factory: the boost clock is 2602 MHz, and 2632 MHz in OC mode. CUDA cores accelerate not only games but also video editing, 3D rendering and AI tools that use CUDA. OpenGL 4.6 is supported, and the card connects to the motherboard over a PCI Express 5.0 interface.

The video memory is 8 GB of new-generation GDDR7 on a 128-bit bus with a data rate of 28 Gbit/s. GDDR7 is faster than the previous GDDR6, so the GPU gets textures and other data more quickly. 8 GB is a sensible amount mainly for Full HD gaming; if you plan very high texture settings or heavy 3D scenes, 16 GB versions with the same GPU are also available.

The rear panel has three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one HDMI 2.1b. Up to four displays can be used at the same time, and the highest supported resolution is 7680 × 4320, or 8K. HDCP 2.3 support means protected content from streaming services plays at high resolution too. You can, for example, connect a gaming monitor over DisplayPort and a TV over HDMI without unplugging either.

The card measures 229 × 120 × 50 mm and occupies 2.5 expansion slots. ASUS has given it the SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce badge, which is aimed at small cases: if the case maker lists the case as compatible with SFF-Ready cards, the fit is assured. The card weighs 656 g and comes in a black and grey finish.

The two Axial-tech fans have been updated: a smaller hub allows longer blades, and a barrier ring around the edge increases downward air pressure onto the heatsink. When the GPU temperature is below 50 degrees and power draw is low, 0dB technology stops the fans completely. According to the manufacturer, the dual ball bearings last up to twice as long as sleeve bearings, and a vented backplate helps move heat away.

Supplementary power comes through a single 8-pin connector, so no adapter or new-style power cable is needed. ASUS recommends a power supply of at least 550 W for the system. If you are only swapping the graphics card in an older PC, check that the power supply has a free 8-pin PCIe cable and meets the recommended wattage.

Gamers building or upgrading a compact PC who play mostly at Full HD; users who need several monitors at once; creators whose video editing or 3D software uses CUDA; and anyone with a tight case for whom the 229 mm length and the quiet 0dB mode matter.
