Description

Power and cooling for long gaming sessions

The processor is fed by 14 + 2 + 1 power stages rated up to 80 A each, designed with high-core-count processors in mind. AMD EXPO profiles bring DDR5 to its rated speed with one setting. Audio comes from a Realtek ALC1220 7.1-channel codec, and there are headers for a front USB-C 10 Gbps port and Thunderbolt (USB4). Q-Latch holds the M.2 drive without screws and Q-Release frees the graphics card with one press.

Questions & answers

Can the BIOS be updated without a processor?

Yes. BIOS FlashBack updates the BIOS from a FAT32 USB stick at the press of a button, with no CPU or memory installed.

Which processors does it support?

According to the manufacturer, AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series AM5 processors. AM4 processors do not fit this socket.

How many M.2 SSDs can I install?

Three: one PCIe 5.0 slot and two PCIe 4.0 slots. One of the PCIe 4.0 slots also takes a longer 22110 drive, and there are four SATA ports on top.
