The Digitus DN-95317 is an 8-port Gigabit PoE+ network switch that carries both data and power over a single Ethernet cable to IP cameras, access points or VoIP phones. As an unmanaged switch it works as soon as it is plugged in, and it fits on a desk or in a 10-inch rack.

Description

PoE+ that removes separate power adapters

PoE+, or IEEE 802.3at, delivers more power than standard 802.3af PoE, so more demanding cameras and access points can be powered too, while older 802.3af devices still work. The power supply is built into the chassis, so there is no external brick, more room in the cabinet and tidier cabling. All eight ports run at gigabit speed, leaving plenty of headroom for video streams.

The manufacturer lists 80 W of PoE power. Before installing, add up the consumption of your devices from their data sheets and make sure the total stays below that figure.

Can it be managed or set up with VLANs?
