The GIGABYTE B850M FORCE (rev. 1.1) is a micro-ATX motherboard with the AMD B850 chipset and an AM5 socket for Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. This two-slot board supports DDR5 overclocked up to 9600 and has three M.2 slots and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet; this version has no Wi-Fi.

With two slots, each memory channel carries a single module, which suits a fast DDR5 pair: the manufacturer quotes overclocking up to 9600 MT/s and AMD EXPO profile support. X3D Turbo mode targets higher gaming performance on X3D processors, and the BIOS offers multiple themes, AIO fan control and Q-Flash Auto Scan.

Builders of a compact AM5 gaming PC with two memory modules and a wired network connection. Three M.2 slots, including one PCIe 5.0 x4, hold several fast SSDs. The variant with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth is the B850M FORCE WIFI6E.

Which processors does this motherboard support?

It has an AM5 socket, and the manufacturer lists AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors. AM4 processors do not fit this socket.

How much memory can I install?

The two DDR5 DIMM slots take up to 128 GB in total, 64 GB per slot. DDR4 modules do not fit.

Does the board have Wi-Fi?

No, this version has 2.5 Gbit/s Ethernet only. For wireless networking there is the B850M FORCE WIFI6E.
