X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 is a Gigabyte BIOS feature that uses AI to tune large-cache X3D processors for gaming. The CPU is powered by a digital 18+2+2 phase VRM and two 8-pin EPS connectors. Cooling is passive: heatsinks keep the power stage and chipset in check without an extra fan, so the board itself adds no noise to the system.
Four DIMM slots hold up to 256 GB of DDR5 in dual-channel mode, with up to 64 GB per slot. Supported speeds run from 4800 to 9000 MT/s; the upper values are overclocking territory and depend on suitable memory and a capable CPU. An AMD EXPO profile sets speed and timings in the BIOS with a single option. Unbuffered non-ECC modules are supported.
Two M.2 slots support PCIe 5.0 SSDs and two support PCIe 4.0; the first slot takes modules up to 25110 and the rest up to 22110. M.2 EZ-Latch Click & Plus secures SSDs and heatsinks without screws, and M.2 EZ-Flex is a flexible baseplate that presses the drive against the heatsink. There are also four SATA III ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10.
The Realtek RTL8126 controller supports wired connections up to 5 Gbit/s, five times faster than regular gigabit when your router or NAS supports it. Wireless is Wi-Fi 7 (Qualcomm QCNCM865) and Bluetooth 5.4, and the antenna attaches with WIFI EZ-Plug. According to the manufacturer, the front QC-USB header supplies up to 65 W of charging power when the case has a matching USB-C port.
The rear panel offers two USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort support, HDMI 2.1 (HDCP 2.3, up to 4096 × 2304), ten USB 3.2 ports and Realtek ALC1220-VB audio with 7.1 support and an optical output. On the board you get two CPU fan headers, three pump headers and six chassis fan headers, two temperature sensor headers and a noise detection header, so a liquid-cooled build can be tuned precisely.
