All eight copper ports are gigabit with 802.3af PoE, which suits most IP cameras, VoIP phones and access points. The four SFP slots let you link remote nodes over fibre. Thanks to the dual power inputs a second supply can be added: with a 48–57 V adapter the switch also delivers PoE+.
Small offices and shops where cameras and access points need power and the building is connected by fibre; small ISPs; and MikroTik users who want RouterOS on their PoE switch too. The included 28 V adapter means the switch is ready to use straight away, and PoE+ can be added later with a second power supply.
