Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow robot vacuum and mop 20,000 Pa, mop lifting

The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is a robot vacuum and mop for homes that mix rugs with hard floors. With 20,000 Pa of suction, LiDAR navigation and a lifting mop, it vacuums and mops in one pass, and the dock empties the robot's dust bin into a bag. The 5200 mAh battery runs for up to 240 minutes.

  • Suction: 20,000 Pa, roller brush and side brush, hair anti-tangle technology

Description

Suction that reaches into carpet

20,000 Pa of suction, together with a roller brush and a side brush, picks up dust and crumbs from hard floors and pulls dirt out of carpets. The manufacturer lists both carpet and hard floor as supported surfaces. The roller brush has anti-tangle technology: long hair does not wrap around it as easily, so you clean the brush less often and suction does not drop part-way through a run.

A mop that lifts before the rug

The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow vacuums and mops in a single pass. The mop lifts: when the robot reaches a rug, it raises the mop so the rug stays dry and the hard floor still gets an even clean. You do not have to roll up rugs before cleaning or split rooms into dry-only and wet-only zones. The exact lift height is not given in the manufacturer's data.

A dock that empties the bin for you

After cleaning, the robot drives back to the dock and recharges, and the dock sucks the contents of its 0.325 L bin into a dust bag. Instead of emptying a small bin every day, you change the bag now and then. The dock weighs 9.6 kg and the robot itself 4.6 kg. The robot measures 353 × 353 mm, stands 119 mm tall and runs on three wheels.

Navigation and control

The LiDAR sensor maps your home, and the quick mapping function in the app produces the first map in less time. Obstacle and stair detection keeps the robot from bumping into furniture or falling down steps. You control it over Wi-Fi from the app, and it supports voice control and Amazon Alexa. The 14.4 V, 5200 mAh lithium-ion battery gives up to 240 minutes of runtime, and the stated noise level is 65 dB.

Maintenance that takes little time

The manufacturer describes the robot as easy to clean, and several everyday chores are already taken care of: the dock empties the dust bin, hair does not wrap around the roller as easily, and all you change now and then is the dust bag. For daily cleaning the automatic programme is enough, and the cloud-connected app lets you start and monitor the robot even when you are away from home.

Who this robot vacuum and mop is for

Families whose rooms alternate between rugs and hard floors and who do not want to move rugs before every clean; owners of multi-storey houses who need reliable stair detection; households with long-haired members, where an ordinary brush quickly gets wrapped in hair; and anyone who runs the home by voice through Amazon Alexa.

Questions & answers

Will the mop get my rugs wet?

It should not: the mop lifts, and the robot raises it when it drives onto a rug. The lift height in millimetres is not published by the manufacturer.

Can the robot fall down the stairs?

The robot has stair detection, which stops it before the edge of a step. Moving it between floors is still done by hand.

Can I control it by voice?

Yes. The manufacturer lists voice control and Amazon Alexa support. The robot connects to Wi-Fi and can also be controlled from the app.

Does the dock wash the mop?

According to the manufacturer, the dock's functions are charging and automatic dust emptying; mop washing is not listed.

How often does the dust bag need changing?

That depends on the size of your home and how dusty it gets. The dock empties the robot's 0.325 L bin into the bag, so the bag collects the dust of several cleaning runs before it needs replacing.
