Description

The 6 GHz band for a less crowded connection

Wi-Fi 6E means that besides the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, the router can also use 6 GHz. There are fewer neighbouring networks and less interference there, so compatible phones and laptops get a cleaner channel. Older devices stay on the usual bands and do not slow the newer ones down. Six external antennas help spread the signal around the room. Four Gigabit ports are there for wired connections to a TV, console or desktop computer.

Who this router is for

Homes that already have Wi-Fi 6E phones or laptops and want to put the 6 GHz band to use; flats in apartment blocks where 2.4 and 5 GHz are crowded with neighbours' networks; and users with many wired devices. Mesh support leaves the option of extending the network later.

Which mesh system is the router compatible with?

The manufacturer data lists mesh support but gives no list of compatible devices.
