AC1200 describes the combined Wi-Fi speed of both bands, and 802.11ac is the Wi-Fi 5 standard. Two bands mean that phones and laptops can use the faster 5 GHz network, while 2.4 GHz suits distant rooms and older devices. The 10/100 Mbit/s LAN ports are fine for a TV, an IP phone or a printer for which that speed is enough.
Summer houses, country homes or flats where internet comes from the mobile network and there is no fixed line; small offices that need a simple router with dual-band Wi-Fi; and users for whom an AC1200 Wi-Fi network covers everyday browsing, streaming video and video calls.
