Deco units form a single network with the same name and password everywhere. A phone or tablet switches to the fastest unit by itself as you walk between rooms, so a video call does not drop. Units can talk to each other wirelessly or over an Ethernet cable, which gives a faster and steadier link. According to the manufacturer, the system handles up to 100 devices.
People who already run a Deco network and want one more unit where the signal is weak; smaller flats where a single device acting as the router is enough; and owners of a regular router who want to extend their network with Deco E4 in access point mode.

The pack contains one Deco E4. It works alone as a router or access point, but a mesh network needs at least two Deco units.
According to the manufacturer, Deco E4 works with every other Deco model, so it can also join a newer Deco network.
