Description

Your own Wi-Fi network from a SIM card

TL-MR105 works like an ordinary home router, except that it gets its internet from the mobile network. A SIM card with a data plan goes into the router, it creates a Wi-Fi network, and phones, laptops, the TV and smart devices connect to it. Wireless N, or 802.11n, is Wi-Fi 4 level: enough for browsing, email, video calls and streaming, and compatible with practically every Wi-Fi device.

Who this 4G router is for

Summer cottages and country houses without fibre; building sites, warehouses and temporary sales points; families who move often or rent and do not want a long contract; and offices that need a simple backup link next to the main connection.

Questions & answers

Can I put a SIM card in the router?

Yes. TL-MR105 is a 4G LTE router and internet comes from the mobile network, so you need a SIM card with a data plan.

Does TL-MR105 support 5 GHz Wi-Fi?

The supplier data lists only Wireless N 300 Mbit/s and names no separate bands. Dual-band Wi-Fi is not stated for this model.

What is the difference between TL-MR105 and TL-MR100P?

Both are 300 Mbit/s Wireless N 4G LTE routers. The supplier data gives only the model names and does not describe technical differences, so go by the model code.
