The two dedicated ports are for charging only and supply up to 2.4 A. TP-Link Smart Charging identifies a connected iOS or Android device and picks the fastest suitable charge for it, whether it is a tablet, a phone or a smartwatch. Meanwhile the seven data ports stay free for drives and accessories, and an LED next to each port shows whether the device is connected properly.
