Description

One cable in, seven powered devices out

The USW-Ultra needs no wall socket: when an upstream switch or injector supplies PoE++, a single cable brings both data and power, and the switch passes them on to seven devices. Cameras or access points can then go where there is no mains power, such as an attic or near an outside wall.

Who this network switch is for

Extending a PoE++ network to a spot that needs a couple of cameras, an access point or an IP phone but has no power outlet. The wide operating temperature range also suits unheated spaces.

Is a power supply included?

No. The switch is powered from the PoE++ input port or the DC jack (44–57 V); a power supply has to be sourced separately if needed.

How many devices can it power?

There are seven PoE+ output ports, but the total budget is 42 W. Add up the draw of your devices: if the total stays under 42 W, they all run at once.

How does it differ from the USW-Ultra-210W?

The housing and ports are the same, but the 210W model includes a power supply and has a 202 W PoE budget.
