The Unitree R1 Basic is a lightweight humanoid robot approximately 121 cm tall, designed as an open platform for working with robotics and artificial intelligence algorithms. Its 24 degrees of freedom (6 per leg, 2 in the waist, 5 per arm) let the robot move smoothly, climb stairs, avoid obstacles and perform complex motion sequences. The platform gives direct access to joint and sensor control and supports simulation environments and large multimodal language models.

Description

A wide-field-of-view binocular camera provides environmental awareness, while a speaker and microphone array enable voice-command interaction. The eight-core processor handles motion control, data processing and AI algorithms at the same time. A quick-swap lithium-ion battery provides approximately 1 hour of operation.
