The Unitree R1 Edu Smart is a compact humanoid robot built as a research and development platform for robotics and AI at universities, laboratories and R&D teams. At 121 cm tall and about 25 kg it is easy to transport, yet its 26 degrees of freedom (6 in each leg, 2 in the waist, 5 in each arm and 2 in the head) give exceptional mobility: the robot jumps, runs and walks on its hands. Edu Smart adds computing power and head degrees of freedom to the R1 Basic and Edu U1.

Description

An arm payload of up to 2 kg allows grasping experiments. The expansion dock provides up to 100 TOPS on an 8-core CPU, with algorithms, robot models, APIs and Isaac Sim compatibility included. Binocular camera, speaker and microphones, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2. The quick-release lithium-ion battery provides about 1 h of operation. Colour variant: Rational Guardian.
