The xTool MetalFab 1200W combines three processes in one machine: laser welding, metal cutting and surface cleaning, including rust removal. The included CNC cutter adds computer-controlled cutting and cleaning over a 610 × 610 mm working area. The 1200 W fibre laser, built on an industrial Coherent chip with a 1080 nm wavelength, handles stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium, brass, titanium and other metals from 0.2 to 5 mm thick; with the CNC cutter it cuts carbon steel up to 10 mm in a single pass. Continuous, spot and pulse welding are supported, with a heat-affected zone of ≤ 0.05 mm.

Description

The CNC module reaches 400 mm/s with ± 0.1 mm motion accuracy; VibeFreeCut, FlexiTrack and ObstacleFree technologies cancel vibration, keep the laser head at the right height and avoid obstacles. A 16 MP panoramic camera with AI algorithms nests parts on the sheet automatically, while the close-range camera positions with less than 0.2 mm deviation. The 8-inch touchscreen holds 108 ready material parameters. The machine is CE, FCC and FDA certified and has 10 safety features, including an emergency stop button and an OD5+ filter cover.
