Description

Pure sine wave and fast transfer for sensitive equipment

A pure sine output has the same shape as normal mains voltage, so it suits PC power supplies with active PFC that sometimes struggle on a stepped-wave UPS. When the power fails, the unit switches to battery in 4–8 ms. LEDs show power and fault status, and audible alarms warn about battery operation, low battery, overload, faults and when the battery needs replacing.

Home offices and small businesses where one desktop with a monitor, or a router and NAS, needs protection from outages and voltage swings. The compact plastic housing fits under a desk, and the battery recharges in 4 hours.

Questions & answers

How long does it run during a power cut?

The manufacturer does not specify a runtime, because it depends on the load. The lower the load compared with 600 W, the longer the 9 Ah battery lasts.

What can I connect to it?

Total draw must stay below 600 W, and there are two outlets. A desktop and monitor, or a router, fit well; for more devices you need a model with more outlets.

Why does a pure sine wave matter?

A pure sine wave mirrors normal mains voltage. Power supplies with active PFC and other sensitive devices run on battery just as they do on mains.
