When the router runs out of ports, the TL-SG1005D adds four more devices over a single cable – the fifth port goes to the router. Gigabit speed means a desktop computer, TV, games console or network drive gets a wired connection that is usually more stable than Wi-Fi. As an unmanaged switch it has no web interface or settings: just connect power and cables.
Home users who need more network ports next to the router or behind the TV, and home offices where a computer, printer and network drive should share the same wired network. The small, light case fits on a desk, a shelf or under the TV.

The switch has five gigabit ports. One connects to the router, and the remaining four take a computer, TV, console or other wired device.
No. The ports are gigabit, so a connection of up to 1 Gbps reaches the devices in full; all connected devices do share the same router internet connection, though.
No, this model has no PoE – cameras and access points need their own power adapter.
