The Ryzen 7 7700 pairs eight cores and 16 threads with a 65 W TDP. It handles games, video editing and lots of open applications at once, yet does not demand an unusually large cooler or power supply. The base clock is 3.8 GHz and under load it climbs to 5.3 GHz. PCI Express 5.0 support leaves headroom for newer graphics cards and drives.

Since there is no cooler in the package, the Tray version makes sense when you already own a suitable AM5 cooler or prefer to pick one separately. Is a cooler included?

No. This is the Tray (OEM) version and according to the manufacturer data no cooler is included. You will need a separate CPU cooler that supports Socket AM5.

Which motherboard and memory does it work with?

The processor is made for Socket AM5 motherboards and uses dual-channel DDR5 memory at the supported speeds of 3600 and 5200 MHz. It does not fit AM4 boards or work with DDR4.

Will the PC run without a graphics card?

Yes, the processor has integrated AMD Radeon Graphics with a 2200 MHz base clock, so the picture can come from the motherboard video output. For demanding games a separate graphics card is still worth adding.
