Ten cores that keep up when many apps are open
The Intel Core i5-14400 is a ten-core processor whose strength shows when the computer has a lot to do at once: a large spreadsheet recalculating, dozens of browser tabs open, a video call running and accounting software in the background. The extra cores also help when compressing large files, editing photos and doing light video work. It is a balanced step up when an i3 feels too modest but a workstation would be overkill.
