Description

Thunderbolt 4 with room to expand

Three downstream Thunderbolt 4 ports carry both data and video: they take monitors, fast drives or the next Thunderbolt device in a daisy chain. With USB devices these ports run at up to 10 Gbit/s, but a charger cannot be connected through them. Smart power distribution splits the adapter output between the laptop and the dock in real time, according to how much the connected devices draw.

Who this docking station is for

Office workers with a Thunderbolt 4 laptop who want to connect two 4K monitors, the network and peripherals with one cable; Mac users with a Thunderbolt 3 machine on an M1 Pro or M1 Max chip running macOS 11 or later; and companies where Wake-on-LAN lets the IT department wake computers over the network.
