Description

Thunderbolt 5 bandwidth with room to spare

Thunderbolt 5 is the fastest Thunderbolt generation so far: according to Club3D, up to 80 Gbps moves between the hub and the computer, or up to 120 Gbps for video. In practice, several high-resolution monitors, an external SSD and other devices can work over one cable at the same time without noticeably slowing each other down. The hub is Thunderbolt 5 certified, which confirms compliance with the standard.

Three 5K monitors on one cable

The hub supports up to three 5K monitors at a 60 Hz refresh rate. It has no separate HDMI or DisplayPort sockets: monitors connect through the Thunderbolt 5 ports, and a screen with an HDMI or DisplayPort input needs a matching cable or adapter. How many monitors run at once also depends on the Thunderbolt port and graphics of your laptop.

Charges the laptop and the phone together

The hub supplies up to 100 W to the laptop over USB PD, so there is no need for a separate charger on the desk. Through the two front USB-C ports, a phone and a tablet get up to 30 W between them. Everything is fed by an external 180 W DC power supply plugged into the hub. The USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port at 10 Gbps suits an external drive, keyboard or mouse.

Thunderbolt Share between two computers

A Thunderbolt Share license is included. With it, two computers connect directly over Thunderbolt to move files quickly and control the second machine from one desk. That is handy when you have a laptop at work and a desktop at home, or when the data from an old computer has to move to a new one without the cloud or external drives.

Light and compact for travel

The hub measures 170 × 85 × 22 mm and weighs only 153 g, so it slips into a laptop bag and travels well. The silver housing matches most laptops. Plug and Play means the hub starts working as soon as it is connected. A Thunderbolt cable comes in the box; there is no card reader.

Who this USB hub is for

Owners of a Thunderbolt 5 laptop who want to connect up to three 5K monitors and charge the laptop over one cable; users who change workplaces often and need a small portable solution; and people working on two computers who move files or control them with Thunderbolt Share.
