The unit attaches to a pole or mast, where the mobile signal is usually stronger than inside. Only one Ethernet cable runs into the building: it carries data at up to 1000 Mbit/s and power via passive PoE, so there is no separate power line to run up the mast. Indoors the cable connects to a Wi-Fi router, a switch or a computer. Configuration is done in MikroTik RouterOS.
