TP-Link Archer MR402-Outdoor is a 4G router made for outdoor installation: it takes a 4G mobile connection and shares it over dual-band AC1200 Wi-Fi. It is powered over PoE through the network cable, so you do not need a socket outside.

Description

4G internet where there is no cable

The point of an outdoor router is to mount it where the mobile signal is stronger than indoors, for example on a façade or under the eaves. MR402-Outdoor shares the 4G connection over Wi-Fi on both 2.4 and 5 GHz; AC1200 is the class name for the combined speed of the two bands. Power comes over PoE through the network cable, and the RJ-45 port also lets you connect a wired device.

Who this 4G router is for

Summer cottages, farms or building sites with no cable internet; homeowners whose rooms get weak mobile signal and who want to mount the unit outside; and installers who like running one network cable for both power and data.
