The Unitree G1 Edu U2 is the enhanced developer version of the G1 humanoid robot, created for research on AI, motion planning and human-robot interaction at universities, research institutes and R&D teams. About 130 cm tall and 35 kg, it moves at up to 2 m/s, and with 29 degrees of freedom it runs, jumps, climbs stairs and dances without losing balance.

Description

The robot can be fitted with the Dex3-1 three-fingered hand for grasping objects. Perception combines an Intel RealSense D435i depth camera with a Livox MID-360 3D LiDAR, and audio includes a 5 W stereo speaker and four microphones. The Edu version comes with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin module, an SDK for high- and low-level development and support for imitation and reinforcement learning. The 9000 mAh quick-swap battery gives about 2 h; folded size 69 × 45 × 30 cm.
