Arozzi Vernazza SoftPU gaming chair, PU leather, up to 145 kg, Brown

SoftPU is the Vernazza version with soft PU leather covering the seat and backrest. A polyurethane-coated material looks like leather, while dust and most marks wipe off its surface with a damp cloth. The brown tone feels warmer than the usual black and also fits a living room or home office. Material thickness and care instructions are not given by the manufacturer.

The manufacturer describes Vernazza as a chair designed for support and comfort, with a spacious seat and two soft support pillows. In gaming chairs such pillows are usually meant for the lower back and the neck, so you can place them to suit your body or remove them altogether. Pillow dimensions and the way they attach are not listed.

The chair height is adjustable, so the seat can be set to match your desk and leg length. The backrest is adjustable too, and the 3D armrests move in three directions, usually up and down, forward and back and with a swivel. That lets the forearm rest at keyboard or mouse level. Adjustment ranges in centimetres and the recline angle in degrees are not published.

The manufacturer calls the Vernazza frame sturdy: the load-bearing part is metal and the wheel base is aluminium. An aluminium base is stiffer than a plastic one and does not flex under load. The maximum load is 145 kg, so the chair also suits heavier users. It weighs 26 kg, which makes it stable but heavy to lift.

Vernazza SoftPU suits someone who sits at a PC or console for long stretches and wants a leather-look surface that is easy to clean. The spacious seat, two pillows and a frame rated for 145 kg make it a solid option for users with a larger build as well. The same chair is also available as the SoftFabric version if a soft textile surface matters more than a wipe-clean cover.
